Apparel Finishings

Apparel finishings encompass a range of additional details and processes that enhance the overall quality and appearance of your garments. Here are some popular examples that Threadbird has to offer:

Printed Neck Labels (Tags)

Instead of traditional sewn-in labels, consider screen printing or heat pressing label information directly onto the inside of the shirt for added comfort and a sleek, modern look. If you want to replace manufacturers neck tags, we can do so for you and heat press your printed neck tags with your logo & the necessary info included (shirt size, fabric such as materials, country of origin, care instructions).

Many customers choose this option because they don’t like the uncomfortable feeling of bulky factory tags inside the garment.

Hang Tags

Threadbird can print and attach your branded hang tags to your printed garments with a plastic fastener for you! Hang tags offer an excellent opportunity to provide additional information about your brand, product, or pricing, while also serving as a easy branding tool.

Folding & Bagging

Want to give your products your personal and professional touch, but don’t have the time? Don’t fret, Threadbird’s folding & bagging service includes us folding your decorated apparel, and individually packaging them in clear or solid poly bags with stickers that indicate the garment size. If you're interested in designing your own custom packaging, contact us to learn more.

Neatly folding and individually packaging shirts in poly bags not only makes your product presentation look and feel more professional, but it also provides added protection for storage and during shipping.

Woven Labels

Apparel labels (which we refer to as  ‘Woven Labels’ & ‘Hem Tags’) are more than just tags sewn into garments; but rather they're a powerful branding feature that works to market your apparel brand to your customers! Threadbird can create and attach your woven labels onto the hems of your printed shirts, hats, and bags. This adds some subtle yet memorable branding and also adds a touch of sophistication to your apparel. Here's what you need to know:

Woven Labels vs. Hem Tags..What’s the difference?

There isn’t one! Whether you call them woven labels, hem tags, or even woven hem tag..it doesn’t matter! These two interchanging terms are essentially one in the same.

We have different woven label sizes, folds, and shape options for you to choose from. Threadbird can create and attach your labels to a variety of locations on garments or products. If we wanted to get really technical, the only ‘difference’ between a woven label and hem tag is the location of where the label is sewn & attached to on the garment. We just tend to refer to labels as hem tags, when the label is sewn onto the hem of garment. However, woven labels can also be sewn onto the hem, along with several other locations. Let’s dive deeper..

2x2” Hem Tag (Attached to Sleeve Hem 2x4” Woven Label (Attached to Shirt Bottom Hem)

Attachment Locations: Woven labels i.e hem tags are typically sewn on the inside neck collar of a shirt, pocket seam, garment side seam, over a sleeve cuff or bottom hem of a tee where they're easily visible, but also discreet.

Tag Design: Depending on the size of label you choose, your sewn tags can include important details such as your company name and logo, while also representing your brand colors.

Visual Impact: Adding labels with your logo to your garments elevates your apparel by giving it a unique, premium branding feature that people will notice and remember! These labels also add a nice professional finishing touch that enhances the perceived value of your garments and reinforces your brand identity in a unique way. Take it from our customer, the Sol SistAZ brand who has printed their heat pressed neck tags with us.

“I was new at all this 6 months ago. I did a ton of research on tags and found Threadbird. I've had 3 bulk orders and have been very satisfied with all three order's. Each piece of apparel.
