You’ll be using and honing your skills to help our customers build their businesses through custom merchandise creation and fulfillment at Threadbird.

What You'll Do:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot industrial-sized Heat Press Machines to manufacture heat-applied goods at the highest quality and efficiency standards.  
• Prepare machines for garments, including loading substrates onto the machine network, manual setting changes, and heat press equipment adjustments when appropriate. 
• Ensure operations run smoothly by participating in heat press department processes including order check-in, quality control inspections, thread trimming, folding, and bagging of goods for final shipment to customers.
• Examine completed work to detect product defects and verify conformance and adjust machinery as necessary to correct quality or efficiency issues.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance including daily oiling and lint control using a compressed air system and a shop vacuum.
• Consistently demonstrate strong work ethic, organizational skills, dependability, resourcefulness, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
• Handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Ability and willingness to work on the warehouse production floor at all workstations as required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with industrial heat press machines 
• Basic computer knowledge

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, sit, and recline for long periods 
• Regularly lift, push and/or pull up to 15 pounds 
• Occasionally lift, push and/or pull up to 35 pounds 
• Infrequently lift, push and/or pull up to 70 pounds 

What We Require:

• Minimum of five (2) years industrial heat press machine operation experience 
• Ability to read and understand instruction manuals 
• Great communication and customer service skills 
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills 
• Strong work ethic, organized, self-starter, dependable, resourceful, team player, takes initiative, flexible, impeccable attendance, detail-oriented, quick learner 
• Excellent administrative abilities
